Home arrow Blog arrow SWINE FLU

This current flu is a combination of avian, pig, and human strains. It started in Mexico and was brought to the rest of the world by a Catholic boy’s school from Queens that vacationed in Cancun. So don’t fall for the paranoid schizophrenic lies being told by idiotic tv ‘news’ people. This flu did not start because our borders aren’t safe. It’s not because of illegal aliens bringing illness into our country. That’s all just blatant fear mongering designed to get you scared and raise their ratings.

Remember the 1976 swine flu fiasco when dozens died and hundreds were hurt by the vaccine pushed by the Ford administration? Just about everything was done wrong in that situation. We could have warning of this current outbreak if the pandemic flu system had been in place. But the over $900 million in the stimulus bill for exactly this kind of scenario was gleefully voted down by certain senators who said that this money was ‘pork’. They were wrong when they blocked these funds. Now their mistake is costing Americans in terms of illness and suffering.

Despite company denials, a number of Mexican and U.S. news outlets are pointing to Virginia-based Smithfield Foods, the world's largest pig producer ($12 billion in annual sales), as a likely source of the deadly outbreak. Smithfield sells pork and operates massive hog-raising operations in 40 nations, including Perote, Mexico, in the state of Vera Cruz, where the outbreak originated. For months, local residents and workers in Mexico have complained of pollution, contamination, and illnesses from the Smithfield plant. For years, Smithfield has been criticized in the United States for polluting rural communities, endangering public health, and exploiting workers and farmers.

Factory farms, such as Smithfield, feed pigs massive amounts of antibiotics, resulting in swine incubating and spreading antibiotic-resistant germs. These antibiotic-resistant pathogens are considered a major human health hazard by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization. Given these serious public health concerns, a number of health and safety organizations have called for limits or a ban on the practice of feeding antibiotics to farm animals, including the American Public Health Association, American Medical Association, Infectious Diseases Society of America, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and the Union of Concerned Scientists.

Contact President Obama and Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack and urge them to:
Immediately ban Confined Animal Feeding Operations (hog, beef, and chicken factory farms) across the United States and end the dangerous practice of feeding antibiotics to farm animals.
Initiate a criminal investigation of Smithfield Foods and other major factory farms.

Here are the common sense actions you can take to prevent illness:
1) Wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds each time. Soap and hot water is good enough.

2) Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.

3) Swine Flu cannot be spread through eating pork products, but you should avoid close contact with sick people.

4) If you have flu-like symptoms, contact your homeopath as documentation of the disease spread is important as well as medical advice on dealing with the illness.

5) The symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue.

6) If you get sick with influenza, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school

The best approach homeopathically is to get in to see your homeopath as soon as you become ill. If you cannot do this due to travel or timing then the following protocol may be helpful. At the first sign of illness, take 1 pellet under the tongue, of Oscillococcinum (also sold as Flu Solution). If there is no change 6 hours later, take 1 more pellet under the tongue. Taking any more than this will probably not make a difference. If you wait longer than 24 hours after feeling sick to follow these instructions this will be ineffective. If you are worse 10-12 hours after the first dose, get in to see your homeopath for the correct homeopathic medicine.

During the 1918 flu pandemic homeopathic physicians in the US had the best success rate in curing their patients. Don’t be scared. See a homeopath.
